Trunking Switch Assembly Machine

A small robot picks an individual badge from a matrix sheet and applies it to a switch.

A vision system checks orientation of the badge prior to assembly to the switch.

The switch is tested for mechanical and electrical operation prior to the complete assembly being coated in epoxy in order to operate successfully in the environment of the vehicle trunk or boot.
